Gladihoppers is a wacky 2D duel game featuring ragdoll physics, where you control a gladiator to jump, punch, and fight, trying to survive longer than your foe through career, arcade, and multiplayer modes.

Core loop

Choose a support class (Trainer buffs stats, Surgeon heals, Priest for resilience, Spy for stealth), move in the arena using WASD, attack with the arrow keys, throw javelins with E, and change stances with Space (quick melee or strong ranged). Deplete your foe’s HP before getting knocked out, and farm gold and fame to buy armor and upgrade Strength, Health, and Charisma.

Diverse modes

Career to climb tournament ranks and manage fighters, Arcade for quick matches, Quick Fight for random battles, Practice to hone combos, and Online 1v1 cross-platform. The beautiful low-poly pixel graphics and detailed hitboxes for each body part enhance the combat experience.

Tip: Upgrade armor early to survive longer, time your Space to dodge heavy attacks, and learn your foe’s jump patterns to counter. It’s funny because the ragdoll can lead to unexpected twists, but it’s also deep due to positioning, timing, and weapon choice!
